 The 1ts APSOPRS Webinar

The 2nd Challenging Cases in Oculofacial Plastic Surgery Webinar

July 18, 2020

This is the first official “APSOPRS webinar” and the second “Oculofacial Challenging Cases webinar”. COVID 19 pandemic has created both threats and opportunities. It reminded us that we are as parts of the same body and need to take care of each other.  Medical care changed to a particular way to adapt to the necessities. Scheduled academic meetings were canceled or postponed. We have always found ways to pass the complex situations together. In this wonderful virtual meeting, challenging cases will be presented and discussed by expert APSOPRS members. Participants will enjoy critical instruction points and clinical reasoning by expert presenters and panelists. There will be opportunity to ask questions or make comments via chat box. It would be an amazing scene to witness participation of mentors and mentees, seniors and juniors together to talk on the board. I believe the output of these meetings will spread and increase knowledge and enthusiasm, provide convergence of oculofacial plastic surgeons from all over the world, promote next generation of oculofacial plastic surgeons and boost up our firm to go forward. Ultimately, this could improve care to our patients. You are all invited to this wonderful meeting.

Words from Directors:

Dear Colleagues,
This COVID pandemic has changed the way we live. The majority of our live meetings this year have been replaced by a tidal wave of webinars. And every medical specialty on the planet is now doing this new normal. APSOPRS, with its commitment to education and teaching, will hold it's first-ever APSOPRS Webinar on July 18, 2020. The speakers will be prominent members of the society and will showcase their expertise. I want to thank Dr. Pakdel and Dr. Sundar for organizing this, and there will be more APSOPRS webinars in the future. Stay tuned!
Warmest regards,
Raoul Paolo D. Henson, M.D.
President APSOPRS
